Meditation
Every Thursday
8.00 - 9.15 pm
Join us for Stress-Free Thursdays, a weekly meditation program designed to help you manage stress and find inner peace. These guided meditation sessions offer a structured approach to mindfulness and relaxation.
What to Expect:
Introduction to meditation
Discover the basics of Buddhist meditation, focusing on calming the mind and finding inner peace. This session introduces foundational practices to cultivate mindfulness and start your meditation journey.
Loving-Kindness Meditation
Cultivate unconditional love for yourself and others through Loving-Kindness Meditation. This practice involves silently repeating phrases of goodwill, starting with yourself and extending to others, including those with whom you have difficulties. It fosters empathy, reduces negative emotions, and builds a compassionate heart.
Body Scanning Meditation
Body Scanning Meditation involves focusing on each part of your body to observe sensations without judgment. This practice helps release tension, promotes relaxation, and improves bodily awareness and stress management.
Insight Meditation Vipassana
Embrace the wisdom of impermanence, recognizing the transient nature of all things. This guides you to observe thoughts, emotions, and sensations without attachment, fostering a sense of equanimity and acceptance of life’s ever-changing nature.
Q & A
An open session where participants can ask questions about meditation, mindfulness, and Buddhist teachings. This is an opportunity to clarify doubts, share experiences, and deepen your understanding of the practice.
